first_img Hull’s Tom Ince Steve Bruce says the signings of Tom Ince and Andrew Robertson signify the fresh direction the club is going in.Ince, 22, joined the Tigers on a free transfer following his release from Blackpool last month and Bruce believes the former Liverpool trainee is destined for a bright future, along with 20-year-old Andrew Robertson, after their Premier League opener against QPR.“We’ve made a conscious effort to bring in some good young players.” Bruce said.“Tom could have scored again [last Saturday], he could have scored two against Stuttgart. He needs to be a bit more clinical which he’ll learn but he’s young and when you’ve got a young player you have to make allowances.”Bruce, who sees blooding youth as a priority at the KC Stadium, was also full of praise for newcomer Robertson, following a promising first start in the Premier League since his £2.85million move from Dundee United last month.“I thought he was terrific. Two years ago he was playing for Queens Park – he’s had a meteoric rise. For a 20-year-old to play on his debut like that, he’s going to be a good player.” 1last_img
